It's official: the following Far Cry is Far Cry Primal, and it'll be set in ancient times—despite the fact that it's really in the Stone Age, straightforwardly after the Ice Age. (Sorry for the mistake.) It'll be out February 23, 2016.

Unique article takes after:

At around 12pm today, Ubisoft set up a livestream of a hollow painting and guaranteed energizing news. After five hours, more than 11,000 individuals are as yet watching that surrender painting, without any news in sight.

Luckily, you have Kotaku. The declaration will be for a diversion called Far Cry Primal and it'll be set in the Ice Age, as indicated by sources acquainted with goings-on at Ubisoft. Hope to see wooly mammoths, tigers, and other ancient creatures. Perhaps tribal battle utilizing bows and lances. Presumably no dinosaurs, yet who knows?

I first heard that Ubisoft was making an ancient Far Cry amusement not long ago, however subtle elements were scanty until today, when I heard specifics on the name and subject. A coincidental break from IGN Turkey verified that it's called Far Cry Primal. As of this present post's production, the livestream is still a hole painting.

This will probably be an "off-year" Far Cry much the same as Blood Dragon, with Far Cry 5 to come in the inaccessible future
